The Dover Chapel cemetery is being renovated by the Ladies Aid Society. The township has appropriated $50 a year for the upkeep in the future.

Mrs. Jesse Grant made a business trip to Asbury Park on Monday.
Private Wm. Grant of Camp Dix was a Sunday visitor. Received word that he will soon leave for France.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Stott and daughter of Brooklyn spent the week at their summer home.
The Ladies Aid Society will meet at the home of Mrs. Geo. Ward on Wednesday evening, May 15.
Coast Guard Herschel Grant of Deal spent last week at his home here.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murray attended the funeral of Mrs. Craven in Philadelphia on Sunday. Mrs. Craven was formerly a resident of this place.
John Grant and wife and son Fred motored to Asbury Park on Saturday, returned home on Sunday.
Miss Etta Danley has returned home after visiting her niece in Fort Hancock.
Private Edgar Lewis of Camp Dix spent Sunday with his parents, Jas. P. Lewis and wife.
Norman Potter of Passaic and Jos. Potter of League Island Navy Yard recently visited their parents, Phineas Potter and wife.
Dr. Frank Brouwer of Toms River inspected Dover Chapel school on Thursday.
Amos Falkinburg is still very ill at his home, under the care of Dr. E .C. Disbrow.
Miss Emma Fischer, primary teacher of school no. 1, spent the weekend in Silverton.
The young people held a social in the town hall on Tuesday night, for the benefit of the Red Cross.
Arthur Cornelius has purchased a new Ford touring car of Grover and Son. 
Mrs. Devine Butler, Mrs. Estelle Wardell and Mrs. Leslie Cornelius motored to Osbornville on Tuesday and visited relatives.

Phineas Potter visited Coast Guard station no 112 on Sunday.
Coast Guards Wm. Harvey and Howard Britton were Monday visitors.
A.S. Pittenger and Samuel Grant of Toms River visited with Wm. Cleckner and wife on Sunday.
Mr. John Peterson, who was operated on in the Paul Kimball hospital, is getting along nicely at this writing.
Chas. Robinson of Browns Mills visited his sister, Mrs. F.R. Butler on Monday.
Mrs. L.J. Evernham of Brooklyn is visiting her niece, Mrs. Arthur Worth.
