The family members are all present again in 1870, with a few changes: in 1850 the enumerator spelled the surname 'Daily', whereas in 1870 it is rendered "Dailey". The youngest daughter, only 1 month old at the time of the census in 1850, was called "Emeline" but her name would appear as "Ella" in 1870. Additionally, there were four children born between 1850 and 1870:

  • Elizabeth, born abt 1855
  • Willie T., born abt 1861
  • Joseph R., born abt 1862
  • Rebecca, born 1870
