Mabel Alice Reed obituary, 1917

from the Trenton Times 16 Jun 1917 The funeral of Miss Mabel Alice Reed, who died Wednesday, was held yesterday afternoon from the residence of Dr. Joseph H. Satterthwaite, ?2 North Stockton Street. Interment was made at the Friends' Burying Grounds, Fallsington, Pa. under direction of Ivins and Taylor. The bearers were A. Crozer Reeves, John Satterthwaite, Floyd Platt and Harvey Satterthwaite.

from the Trenton Times 28 Nov 1914 Miss Florence Reeder, daughter of Frank K. and Emma Reeder, died last night at the home of her brother-in-law, J.W. Thoman, 134 Hoffman Avenue, where she resided. Death was caused by mastoiditis, from which she suffered two weeks. Miss Reeder was a well known dressmaker and besides her parents she left a sister, Mrs. J.W. Thoman. She was 20 years old. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, with the Rev. ? L. Howard officiating. Interment will be in the Wrightstown Friends Burying Grounds, under direction of Poulson & Coleman

George Brown obituary, 1913

from the Trenton Evening Times 28 Jun 1913 DIES AFTER FALL FROM RACING CART Special to the Times - MOUNT HOLLY, June 28 - From injuries received when he fell from a racing sulky near his home, Tuesday night, George Brown, of Crosswicks, died yesterday. He was found in an unconscious condition in the road on Wednesday morning and did not regain consciousness. On Tuesday night he went out to exercise his horse, and it is believed that he was thrown from the cart, landing on the base of his brain and paralyzing his entire body. At first, foul play was suspected, but upon investigation County Detective Parker and Deputy Sheriff Fleetwood could find nothing to substantiate this theory. He is survived by a wife and several children.

from the Trenton Evening Times, 10 May 1910 Mrs. Annie Chambers, widow of John Chambers, of 404 Klagg Avenue, died Monday evening after a short attack of heart trouble. from the New Jersey Mirror 26 Jul 1905 Charles Long, the negro for whom the police of Trenton are looking upon the charge of having murdered Matthew Cunningham, of that city, on July 16, is a native of this county, having been born and spent several long years of his life at Cookstown. from the New Jersey Mirror 18 May 1938: Miss Elizabeth F. Mooney, 32, of 16 Carrol street, Trenton, secretary to former Governor Edward C. Stokes, was killed late on Saturday night in a head-on collision of two automobiles near Absecon. She succumbed shortly after being admitted to the Atlantic City Hospital. Her companion, Miss Agnes Weinmann, 24, of Morrisville, Pa., was taken to the same hospital, suffering from a fractured leg and other injuries. They were returning from a visit to the Atlantic City horse show in the car of Miss Weinmann, who was driving. Miss Weinmann is noted in the Trenton area as an equestrienne. David Johns, 64, of Egg Harbor, a passenger in the other car, also was killed. Two others who were in the car were injured: Harry Johns, 33, who received a fracture of the right arm and a possible fracture of the skull, and a son-in-law, Michael Puglice, 28, who sustained a broken right leg. State police were unable to learn who was driving the car.
