George F. Harbert, steward of the Burlington County Almshouse, at New Lisbon, died Monday night after a stroke of apoplexy. He was a United States revenue gauger in the seventies, sheriff of the county for one term beginning in 1888 and had been steward since the retirement of Theodore B. Gaskill, several years ago.
