Steve Bellegrant charged with illegal possession of liquor, 1929

Steve Bellegrant, who was given a heavy fine recently by Judge Gallagher on a disorderly house charge, was again arrested in Lakewood this week and stands charged by the Prosecutor of possession and sale of liquor. Supreme Court Commissioner Newman held him in $2000 bail for the grand jury.
