C. Stratton Holman obituary 1941

Whitesville- C Stratton Holman, Justice of the Peace in Jackson Township for the past 25 years, died yesterday at his home on the Cassville-Toms River Road after a brief illness.

Mr. Holman, a painter and paper hanger, was a member of Laurel Council, Jr O U A M; Camp 113, Patriotic Order sons of America and the Whitesville Methodist Church. 

He is survived by two sons, George L and C Chester Holman, Manasquan; a granddaughter, Miss Dorothy Holman, Manasquan; a grandson, George Louis Holman, Miami, FL; a brother, John W Holman, Lakewood and two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Buckwalter and Mrs. Sidney Harris, Toms River.

Funeral services will be conducted at his home at 1:30 PM Wednesday, in charge of Rev C Albertus Hewitt, pastor of the Whitesville Church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Toms River. Friends may call tomorrow night at the home
