Railroad comes to Cream Ridge, 1866

"The Pemberton and Hightstown Railroad Company have contracted for the grading of the road, with the firms of Collins and Company, and Rehill, Dolan, and Banford.  Ground will be broken at Hornerstown this week. The road will be completed next July, and will open up a section called Cream Ridge, which is said to contain some of the best farm land in the state.  Chief Engineer, Asahbel Welsh; President, James W.
