Fire at Bamber, 1908

One of the good results of the warden new warden law was seen at Bamber last week, when deputy warden Alfred Larrabee called out a lot of citizens to help put out a fire that had started nearby. It was a hard fight and they succeeded after somewhat of territory had been burned, but no valuable timber destroyed.
