Harry Carver obituary, 1918

from the New Jersey Courier, 25 Oct 1918
Manahawkin's first death to take place in that town from influenza, was that of Harry Carver on Friday last, October 18. He leaves a widow and two children, all of whom were down with the disease. He was 37 years of age, and was formerly employed on the Tuckerton Railroad. Last spring he left the railroad to get some of the big money at Elwood, and of late had been working in Camden, where he contracted the disease.
